FOZ DE IGUAZÚ - argentina

After an impressive day of viewing the falls from the Brazilian side of the river we packed up and prepared to cross the border into Argentina the next day.

We cycled across the border into Argentina, this border crossing was a bit more serious than the others we had experienced from Bolivia, Perú, and Brazil. Given that we were visiting during the off season, a lot of the hotels were not prepared for guests and the camp grounds were closed. After some asking and cycling around neighborhoods, we found a great place called El Eterno Reverdeser. It was a little piece of green heaven amongst the dusty town, there was a natural spring birthing on the property which created a beautiful and tranquil garden, perfect for some yoga. There was a shared kitchen area, a platform for musical performances, stools and tables all surrounded by greenery. It was a bit more than we wanted to spend, however we didn't have much to pick from and the guy had given us a convincing speal.

The next morning we went and experienced the Argentinian side of the falls. We honestly thought it would be impossible to be more impressed, but we were wrong. The Argentinian side had many more km of trail and a vast amount of water falls and flows. We started with the lowest of trails, then walked the middle section, and ended with the biggest and best of it all - the Devil's Throat. Seriously one of the most beautiful experiences of our life. The sheer power of sooo much water, the roaring force, the volume...it is impossible to convey the beauty of Iguazú, but below is an attempt to capture one of nature's magical creations.
