FOZ DO IGUAÇU - brasil

We talked to other travelers and studied the internet about what side was better or what side to see first and got a mix of responses.  There's only so many times you get to see Foz do Iguazu falls, so we decided to find out for ourselves.  From a logistical standpoint, it made sense to visit the Brazilian side first and follow up with the Argentinian side.  We camped in the city of Foz do Iguazu and rode our bikes the 15k from town to the national park entrance.  Our arrival timing was slightly off, but on the positive side of things we were first in line to get our tickets.  From the main entrance we cycled to the first viewing area where we locked the bikes and walked from there.  Initially we were some distance from the falls, but as we walked closer and closer they became ever more impressive.  Around each corner, there was a different view, or a new section, and the roar was spectacular.  Eventually, we came to a catwalk that put visitors up close and personal with the falls.  It was a beautiful sunny day and the rainbows were putting on a show.  The scale and volume of water was more than you could ever capture with a camera.  We were not disappointed by this amazing natural wonder.
